CO2Sense Investment Fund - New Funds Now Available: First Come, First Served
SMEs in Yorkshire may once again apply for grants towards low carbon business and product development projects.
CO2Sense, a community interest company, works to develop the low carbon economy across Yorkshire and the Humber and help businesses and organisations improve their environmental performance.
The CO2Sense Investment Fund can award grants of between £10,000 and £100,000 to meet capital and revenue costs for projects aligned with the previous CO2Sense investment programmes, including:
- Projects that develop the region's woodfuel supply chain, encompassing the production of woodfuel and the use of woodfuel technology to provide heat.
- Projects that help grow the region's installed renewable energy capacity.
- Projects to develop environmental technology businesses.
- Projects to pilot new approaches to reducing carbon.
There is a 'soft' deadline for applications of around September 2012; however, applications will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.
